Motel 6 Hollywood

The staff were friendly and respectful, easily the best part of my stay. The motel is within walking distance of Hollywood attractions, but the area felt sketchy, and I wouldn't recommend it if that makes you uncomfortable. The room was what you'd expect for a budget place, with creaky floors and no good view. I could hear several neighbors' smoke detectors chirping throughout the day and night. There wasn't really a usable desk: it took the place of the TV stand and got in the way of the window. No microwave, and the towels were cheap. Parking cost an extra $30 a night and filled up quickly. I got in late one night and found the last space. Someone arriving just after me couldn't park, which would've made me furious. I don't recommend this motel, despite the excellent staff.

Really good for the price. Service was great, and they let me check in early without charging extra. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. Housekeeping came on the third day, which I appreciated, since some hotels now wait until the seventh day after the pandemic. I wish the room had a microwave and a hair dryer.

Manny, Jose, and Vivian are great with customers. They're usually at the desk, except when things get really busy, and they keep a good attitude and sort out problems right away. The laundry machines worked too, which is a nice change from places where they're broken. No bugs or loud nighttime noise, and parking was convenient for the price. My husband and I will stay again. Keep it up.

The parking attendant seemed to be asleep while I was there, and the front desk staff felt rude and unhelpful from the start. The room and property didn't seem clean or cared for either. I know this is a budget stay, but even a Motel 6 should have basic service and cleanliness. This fell short, so I'd look at other places if you can.
