NOHO Hotel

I spent 14 days here and had a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and the basic amenities were kept up well. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service stayed good throughout. It was quiet and relaxing, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly.

The manager was nice, and thankfully there were no bugs. The room was clean, surprisingly, but that's about where the positives end. The bed was old and awful, and the AC only started working after I cleaned the plugs and port. It was just somewhere to sleep. This place really needs a serious renovation.

I left after about 30 minutes because I didn't feel safe and the room had problems everywhere. The key wouldn't work at first, and the clerk had to help. The door took my full body weight to open and push shut, and it wouldn't lock, which worried me since I was alone. The floor was dirty, and the toilet still had someone else's urine in it. When I told the clerk, the only offer was to clean it the next morning. There were no other rooms, so I asked for a refund and was assured I'd get back the amount for the two nights I'd planned to stay. But when Expedia's representatives called, they refunded only one night. They also claimed I'd stayed two hours, though it was only 30 minutes and I can prove it. A strange man was there while I waited, and I didn't feel safe. The room looked nothing like the photos, with tape on the floor and what looked like taped-up blinds. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

There was lots of mold, and the beds hadn't been properly cleaned. We arrived expecting the two-bed room we'd reserved, but the guy had changed it to one bed and argued it was our fault and nothing could be done. He said he'd cancel the reservation even though he knew it couldn't be cancelled. When we argued about the missing bed, he got angry and stopped helping us. Honestly one of the worst places you could stay.
