I had a really good stay at Normindie Hostel. The building has classic L.A. charm, and the staff were much quicker to respond than I expected. They made a real effort to look after me. The pods were clean, modern, and comfortable. In a shared place you can't control every guest, since people come from different places and backgrounds, but whenever an issue came up, staff dealt with it quickly and professionally. It's good value for the price and a solid place to stay if you're traveling, between jobs, moving, or on a budget. Big thanks to the team for looking out for us.

I was really pleased with the stay. The private room was spotless, and the price was much lower than at other places. Buses, the subway, and supermarkets were all close by, and the facilities had everything I needed for that low rate.

Check-in was hassle-free, and the location was convenient. Everything was clean and worked well, with all the amenities I needed. It's a good deal, and I'd recommend staying here.

I make music and I'm a known person, so I needed somewhere to duck off, relax, and feel at home. Normandie worked really well for that. The friendly people, comfy clean rooms, and welcoming vibe made it easy to unwind and meet people. Loved it, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're after more than just a bed.

I've been staying here for a month and had no problems until today. I pay day by day, and a bank maintenance issue meant I couldn't pay until the evening. I told the housekeeper, but then got a message saying I was blacklisted from making any more reservations. The front desk said management had made the final decision when I called to explain. I've been paying regularly and have always been nice to them. Things happen, and I wish they'd handled this differently instead of blacklisting a loyal guest. Unfortunately, that wasn't how it went.
