Residence Inn Tustin Orange County

We ended up needing to extend our stay several times when the remodeling schedule at our home kept slipping. The staff were cheerful and gracious each time, working with us through an extremely stressful period. We stayed because it was close to home and fairly priced, and the big refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee machine helped us have something like a real home setup. We could bring our two dogs, too. As a recently retired business traveler with lots of hotel chain experience, I can say this was a solid five-star stay in every respect. I won't hesitate to recommend this Residence Inn loudly, and it'll be our first choice for future hotel stays. Thank you, everyone!

The staff were very friendly, and the lobby breakfast had everything I needed. The room was nice and clean overall, and the full-sized fridge, kitchen, plates, cups, and utensils would've been handy if I'd been traveling with my family. I was here for a business event for 1-2 days and picked the hotel because it was closest to the venue. The freeway runs very close to one side of the building, which wasn't great for me as a light sleeper since my room windows faced it. I was on the top floor, but the hotel only has four floors. The heater or fan was louder than I expected, though thankfully I could switch it off at night.

When we were checking out, the elevator opened and two pitbulls rushed out and attacked my beagle in the hallway. I tried to protect my dog and was attacked too. We escaped with minor injuries. Guests should know this hotel allows dangerous dogs to stay there. The room itself was nice and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, but there are no luggage carts. We had to haul our bags up ourselves, which was an unexpected and hazardous job for us as elderly guests. A desk clerk called maintenance, and the worker brought a work cart covered in dirty, greasy parts and tools. It was the same at checkout. I asked to speak to the clerk's supervisor, but was told no one was available. They need proper carts.
