Full Moon Inn

I booked this motel seven months ago and called several times to confirm. Each call was difficult because it was hard to reach someone who understood English, and the people I spoke with were rude and yelled at me. I kept the reservation because I had nowhere else to stay for my trip. Then, three days before I was due to leave, they canceled my room without explaining why. I booked through Expedia, and after one of my calls, during which they kept yelling and calling me stupid, Expedia contacted the motel. The motel told them I had canceled it myself. They seem incompetent and extremely rude, with no customer service skills. The whole thing feels sketchy, and I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

The sheets in the room were dirty and had blood spots. I’d gone to check for bed bug droppings after seeing pest control at the motel and asking whether they sprayed for bed bugs. The pest control worker said they came every week, but didn’t say what for. The man behind the glass got angry that I’d asked. He then showed us the room and said the jacuzzi didn’t work, which was why he planned to charge the regular price. When I asked for a clean sheet, he got mad, told me to leave, and threw my ID and check at me. He said he had a bad attitude and no time for people. He was rude and unprofessional. I’ve never been to a motel that wouldn’t give me one clean sheet, and this isn’t a place for a family. I wasted two days on this: I went yesterday and was told to come back tomorrow, then was told they only had jacuzzi rooms for $95. I’d never pay $95 for a room there. The Snooty Fox or the Mustang are much better, even though they’re on a hoe stroll too. I’ll never recommend this motel.

The beds had plastic covers with the sheets laid over them, and the whole stay was awful. We’d called ahead to check that someone would be there after 11 p.m. for check-in and were told yes. When we arrived, nobody was there, so we rang the bells and knocked for 5-10 minutes. Eventually some very rude staff shouted through a slot asking us for money. Wouldn’t recommend it, even for one night if you’re stuck.

I phoned to ask about rates, and the woman who answered was extremely rude. I asked whether they charged by the week too, and she said it was 110 per night. I couldn’t quite understand her accent, so I asked again if weekly rates were available. She yelled, “SIR WE CHARGE 110 A NIGHT, OK, SIR? GOODBYE,” and hung up.
