Skyways Hotel (Do not use)

It’s a pretty worn-down place, but the location is good and there’s some free parking. If you need a budget stay near LAX, it works well. Rental cars are close by and shopping is about a mile away. There’s a basic restaurant-diner on site. Really just somewhere to sleep.

The place is simple and low key, close enough to everything, safe, and not too expensive. Check-in was a bit rough because I arrived late, and I also had a late flight. Even after I’d checked out, the gentleman at the front could tell I was anxious about a few errands and helped make sure I could take care of them. He was nothing but compassionate. I’ve never been treated with that much kindness at a hotel, especially in LA. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much!

The courtyard garden gives the hotel a surprisingly peaceful feel, even though the area around it is bustling. The owners keep a lovely little garden there, with a beautiful little Greek dinner attached. My room was clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I stayed in July 2025 and would very much return. The airport is close, which might bother some people, but I really enjoyed watching the planes take off.
