We tried switching rooms, hoping for better, but the second one was just as dirty and unhygienic as the first. In the original room, cigarette smoke hit us as soon as we walked in. The floor was greasy and filthy enough to turn my socks black in minutes, and there were questionable marks on the walls and stray hairs stuck everywhere. The sheets looked unwashed, with blood and makeup marks and cigarette burns. Even one star feels too generous. I can’t understand how this place is still taking guests. Just keep your money and time, and don’t go there.

I’ve stayed here three times, and every visit has had problems. Things were fine the first day, so I extended my stay. The next day the daughter told me the cost was $68, which I paid. Later the manager said I still owed money because it was $84. I wasn’t up for arguing and paid the difference. On my second stay, he banged on my door saying I hadn’t paid for my reservation, even though I had receipts and proof. They kept insisting I hadn’t paid until his daughter confirmed that I had and said she was “sorry.” The manager seems focused on money and picks on me and my girlfriend when he’s around. We’re both women, and it feels like he thinks he can intimidate us. There are people fighting in rooms next to us, but I don’t see him confronting them. Even trying to get toilet paper, I rang the bell over and over with no answer, then he answered someone else checking in a moment later. Why are only my girlfriend and I being pulled out of our rooms because you can’t teach your daughter to handle bookings or manage the hotel properly? I work hard for my money and shouldn’t be treated like this. Get a hold of yourself and be humble. Never again.

I asked for fresh linen because what was there looked dingy, but it never arrived. The bed felt mushy and smelled bad, with a yellow stain, and the pillows had what looked like bodily fluids on them. The AC wouldn’t stay on, and with the mirror and all the lights, the room got hotter without helioglow. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was surprisingly roomy and clean, with a comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, and a nicely sized hot tub. The neighborhood gets rough, so be careful, especially at night. My husband and I kept to ourselves and were fine.
