The Commodore Hollywood

It looks beautiful, but living here is hell. You can hear every little movement, even your neighbors breathing, and the noise gets so unbearable you'll curse yourself for choosing this place. Management doesn't care or do anything to stop it. Please don't rent here, especially long term.

As the parent paying the rent, I'm completely satisfied with my daughter's experience in her furnished one-month rental. She needed it for an extension of her nearby internship with NBC, and, as a young woman on her own, feels very safe thanks to the building's security measures. Her unit was well appointed, and she likes the gym, laundry services, and staff who have gone above and beyond to help. The whole team has made us happy. I even suggested the company to a local friend, who ended up signing a year lease with The Baxter next door. Great amenities!

I've been here a couple of months and am really happy with the place. The community is friendly, and the amenities are great: there's a patio residents can use, a cute lobby to work in, and a small dog park. The management team is amazing and always responsive to residents' needs. Special mention to Lizzet, who's always ready to help and stays on top of maintenance requests or questions about the building. I'd recommend this as a cozy home in Hollywood.

The James is meticulously maintained, the shared spaces are amazing, and Lizette, the assistant general manager, personally makes sure I'm comfortable, safe, and well. I work from home when I'm not in studio or on location, and couldn't dream up a more perfect environment. My work travel last year was intense, but I never had to worry about finding an apartment in LA. Over the past 2 years, I've moved up from a bachelor studio to a one bedroom. I'm looking forward to many more successful years in LA. I'm sure my happiness with my living situation has played a huge part in my professional success in Los Angeles.
