The Prospect Hollywood

The bathroom sinks were the only real issue. We had to change rooms because of a scheduling problem on our end, not the hotel's, and the sinks in both rooms had drainage trouble. In the first room, neither of its two sinks drained properly, and it took hours for them to empty. In the next room, the sink stayed full of standing water the whole time. Housekeeping managed to drain it somehow, but it was still odd. I don't know if old pipes were to blame. I won't hold it against them, since the rooms were very nice and unusual and the service was really good. It's a cool little boutique hotel, with rooms named after famous actors or actresses, a friendly, welcoming manager, pleasant staff, and a nice courtyard.

A lovely place, one of the best hotels I've stayed in. My room was clean and really cute, and the bed was comfortable. It's in a central part of Hollywood but still quiet, which is handy if you're trying to avoid traffic. The staff were super helpful. 10/10, I'd stay there again.

For three nights, The Prospect Hollywood gave my fiancé and me a quiet, romantic, relaxing stay. We appreciated that it was adults only, with no kids or young families, and a good place to unwind after long travels. The hotel felt private and safe, and we never felt uneasy. The rooms had their own charm and plenty of space. We liked the in-room bar, daily breakfast pastries and espresso, and courtyard fireplaces. The hotel's layout also seemed designed to protect guests' privacy and safety. Kiki, the manager, was generous and welcoming, offered recommendations, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The rest of the staff were wonderful too. I can't recall a few of their first names to mention them individually, but they'll stay in my memory when I think back on our trip. We're excited to visit Hollywood again, and we'll absolutely stay at The Prospect Hollywood.

The people are what make The Prospect such a welcoming hotel. Kiki and her team were terrific. The front desk arranged a great breakfast, an afternoon cocktail, or help with almost anything else we needed, and housekeeping kept our room neat, clean, and comfortable. The new oversized walk-in showers were great. The patio gardens with firepits are lovely, and the location makes it easy to get around Hollywood. There's a classic Hollywood feel throughout. My one small wish is for a bit more workspace in the rooms. The staff are friendly and know their stuff.
