The Westin Los Angeles Airport

The on-site restaurant was great, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Customer service was amazing, and it felt like a home away from home. One of the best hotels in LA near the airport. I’ll definitely be back.

It’s convenient for the airport, but that’s all I can say for it. I’m usually a low-maintenance guest and prefer minimal interaction at an airport hotel, but even when I asked for help finding sunscreen, staff just said there was none on the property and offered nothing further. They were unhelpful and made no effort to improve our stay. The rooms were thoroughly mediocre, not especially nice or clean. The bathroom hooks were damaged, and the faucets had low water pressure. I won’t stay here again.

I’m local, born and raised in Southern California, and unfortunately the hotel has gone a little downhill since my last visit. The location is awesome and works perfectly for a one-night stay. Our room was dirty. I attached photos of the windows, which were unwashed and full of dirt, making the room feel gross. Staff were somewhat helpful, but check-in had issues and management and the front desk didn’t seem to be on the same page. It worked for one night for my husband and me, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

The free airport shuttle takes around 10 minutes, and there’s a nice gym with enough cardio equipment that you don’t have to wait for a workout. A little store is on the ground floor, and there’s another small shop for water, soft drinks, and similar things. The hotel has a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and the kitchen was quite good. I stayed three nights and can’t complain. I have Marriott Bonvoy status, which got me an upgrade to a nice room and lounge access. The location is great for a short stay, though for a longer LA visit you may want to be closer to the city. I’d absolutely recommend it for a quick visit and will probably book again next time I’m around.
