Breakfast was provided, with enough choices for vegans and people with dietary restrictions, and the coffee was fresh and good. Our room on the second floor was clean, with no noise from an upstairs room, which can sometimes be a problem. The location is still one of my favorites, with easy access to town and the highway. The shower was the main issue. It’s cramped even for a small person, and the shower head points at the wall, so you can’t direct it down onto yourself. It’s still a great place to stay in Los Gatos. It’s a shame it won’t be around long, since a housing project is due to start here soon.

My husband and I brought our kids, ages 5 and 9, and they LOVED the pool. The grounds were very well cared for, and the staff were attentive. The room was quaint, if a little dated. Places like this are few and far between, so it’s a shame it will be closing.

The staff and owners are absolutely wonderful. The owners are phenomenal, and they made sure my particular request was taken care of. The maids also do a wonderful job cleaning the room, and they make these cool little toilet paper decorations. My lady kept every one they made. Please tip the maids, they’re cleaning up after you. I left a very generous tip every night I was there. The rooms are old but roomy, and the bed is neither the best nor the worst. Breakfast is mediocre, so don’t expect much, but it’s free. Sometimes people upstairs or below can be loud. If you open the door and ask them to quiet down, you might be surprised how politely they respond and apologize. You should review the place, not other guests. I’d stay here any time over a lot of other places. 10/10, I highly recommend it.

I’m really enjoying my stay. It’s clean and quiet, and the view from my room is lovely, with lush oak-covered hills and eucalyptus, palms, loquats, and magnolias. The birds chirping make it even nicer. I took breakfast back to my room and ate comfortably at the little table. I showed up at 9:30am, thinking breakfast ran until 10, but weekdays end at 9 and weekends at 10. The ticket had both schedules, and I’d only noticed the weekend time. The woman in the breakfast room was so kind about it. She stopped cleaning, smiled, made me a plate from food she’d just put on her cart, and got me coffee without seeming impatient at all. I hope management knows how awesome she is. Such excellent service, and a lovely surprise. There was a lot to choose from, and the quality was very good, not cheap junk food: scrambled eggs with multicolored bell peppers, fried diced potatoes, sausages, fresh fruit, canned peaches, cereal and milk, bread for toast, toaster waffles, yogurt, and juice. There was probably more already put away since breakfast had ended. Thanks to the nice lady on Thursday, 6/26/2025, around 9:30am, for letting me have some delicious breakfast even though I was late 😁👍
