The rooms were spacious and well kept, and the staff helped with my bags and made check-in easy. It’s right up the street from several restaurants, in a location on Main Street that felt very safe. The price was reasonable for the free breakfast, upscale feel, and location. I don’t think another hotel in Los Lunas has a full gym, and having one for free was very convenient. Highly recommend staying here instead of Albuquerque: there are restaurants and bars, with lower prices, more safety, and less traffic.

Manoj and his assistant, who I believe may be his lovely wife, were very professional, kind, and helpful. We live locally and had a pipeline burst, so we only needed a room to shower before heading back home. He kindly didn’t charge me a deposit. The hotel also allows pets, though we didn’t bring any. Western Skies hotel exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived, with friendly smiles and great staff. I’d recommend it for the cleanliness, pleasant stay, and exceptional service. People often take time to write horrible reviews, while positive ones get overlooked. Some folks are never happy and will always find something to complain about, so don’t base your decision on some of these reviews.

The room was updated, quiet, and very clean. They even have mirrors over the bed! The front desk staff member at check-in was friendly.

The room rate is ridiculous for what you get. Breakfast was cereal and bread, and the towels were dingy and stiff. There was a stained shower and curtain, and something was broken. The microwave was gross, the carpet was damaged throughout, and there were hairs all over the bathroom. The toilet seat had a cigarette burn. I don’t understand how any of these reviews call the place clean, it was filthy. The man at the desk never looked up during check-in. Our key scanner didn’t work, he changed the key and it still failed, so he came up without shoes and moved us to another room.
