Americas Best Value Inn Denham Springs Baton Rouge

Staff called my room to warn me that someone was lurking around the property peeping in, and I assume they alerted other guests too. That kind of attention to what's happening on site really sets this place apart.

I've been here for two weeks and the rooms have stayed clean. Housekeeping comes by every day, which I appreciate, and I haven't seen a single roach.

No breakfast in the morning anymore, though they used to serve it. That's okay, the hospitality makes up for it. The room was clean, they did housekeeping daily through all four nights, and there was a little coffee pot. I'd paid the same at two competing motels before, and America’s best value inn in Denham Springs was hands down the best of the three. Everyone was friendly, I really enjoyed staying here, and I'll keep coming back.

I would not recommend this hotel. We went to the ATM to get money to extend our stay before checkout, but things happened and we couldn't extend it. The manager kept my belongings and my boyfriend's things as collateral until we paid. We weren't in the room, and we still haven't gotten our things back. My blood pressure medicine is among them. My boyfriend only asked for his jacket because it was freezing, and the Indian woman said no. They're rude, careless, and showed no understanding or remorse.
