When I raised our concerns with Stephanie, she downplayed them and didn’t apologize. We were told GM Lovely Chandra would get back to us, but there’s been no follow-up. I contacted both the hotel and customer service last week, and the GM still hasn’t responded. The owner’s online reply is ridiculous when our actual attempts to resolve this have been ignored. The room wasn’t clean. There was pubic hair behind the wall-mounted, empty conditioner bottle, with no way to know how long it had been there. The shower ceiling had brown spots, and the door wasn’t fitted properly, so water sprayed across the floor. There weren’t enough towels to deal with the mess. On top of that, parking was inadequate. After we returned late, staff told us to park at other businesses and walk half a mile back. Book somewhere else. This place isn’t worth it. Unless you’re okay with finding someone else’s pubic hair in the shower, don’t stay here.

I was in town for a work conference. The second-shift staff who checked me in were great, the breakfast was superb, and my room was very clean. It’s a very nice hotel, and I’ll be back.

The room smelled awful, the trash was full, and there were feces stains on the couch and floor. We were in Ohio for my son’s soccer and needed somewhere to stay. This was a terrible mistake. We had to rush to his game, but first told the front desk receptionist we wouldn’t stay and were booking elsewhere. She said we’d receive a full refund, so we left. Today we found out they wouldn’t refund us. The manager, Lovely, gave us the runaround. Terrible service and a disgusting room. Do not stay here!

I’m back at Hampton Inn Mason, Ohio for my fourth week in a row, and both the property and staff have been fantastic. I’d recommend the hotel and its team to short-term and long-term travelers alike. Thanks to Megan, Sam, Allen, and the whole crew!
