Mariner East Beach Resort Unit: 108 by Forehand Rentals

The beach still has plenty of room even when the place is at capacity. It’s quiet and conservative, and the elevator is very quick, so there’s hardly ever a wait.

The condo itself was clean and amazing, and the owner was wonderful. The cleaning lady downstairs was sweet, too. But one staff member made our only night there awful. He followed us to the elevator, wouldn’t let my sister, her boyfriend, the kids, and me press the button for our floor, then kept following us and saying things after we got upstairs. The kids were scared. We’ll never come back, and we’ll be taking further action and leaving a bad review.

Mariner East works great for us because there’s no packed beach, long elevator waits, or hard-to-find parking. We love these condos, and if you’re after that kind of stay, this is the place.

The rental came through a former coworker of my husband’s parent. It’s a six-story beachfront building with an elevator, luggage carts, and easy stair access to every floor. For the drive, turn off Thomas Eastbound before the sign, not after. The parking pass, pool wristbands, and laundry key were all easy to find inside the condo.
