We wanted somewhere peaceful and quiet, and the room was a great value with just the kind of space we needed as a couple. But getting in was a hassle. The keypad gave us trouble, and it took several calls and about an hour before the right person explained how to use it properly. After that, things went smoothly until we found a roach in the tub. We were only asked whether there was bug spray in the unit and never heard what was done about it. When we stripped the bed before leaving to help the cleaning crew, the pillows had brown and burnt orange stains all over them. I couldn’t believe the cleaning crew had seen them and they hadn’t been replaced. We bring our own head pillows and new pillowcases, thankfully, and we also brought Odoban, an air and fabric disinfectant, which we sprayed over the bedding before using it. Before we left, I also noticed the fire detector was hanging from the ceiling and broken.
