The location is lovely, and the room was clean. The pillows were in decent shape, too, but the bed itself was lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower was tiny, the towels old and thin, and the linen was worn through. Hangers were broken, there was no toilet paper holder, and the room had no TV or microwave. For what we paid for one night, the shabby room had far too few conveniences. The website photos seem either very outdated or from another motel, though I didn't see the other rooms. Honestly, mine felt like a room from a horror movie. I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it. I'd sleep in my vehicle before renting there again.

The river view was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting in the chairs by the water at sunset, then getting up early for sunrise. Our newer tiny home was quiet and simply set up, but comfortable for my husband and me. I really liked having our own separate, private space. We loved our one-night stop here on our road trip, and I can't recommend the location enough.

Just a few minutes north of town, the property is in a perfect spot. Greg and Niecy were so kind, and there was a nice hostel-like community feel around the place. We could hear the river from bed, and the green lawn by the water was great for lounging, fishing, or spending time with their charming dog, Titus. The rooms are minimalist cabin style, which suits Idaho and the area.

We were really disappointed. We only had the night in Stanley and checked in late, then went straight out to dinner. When we got back to the rental, we quickly found there was no hot water. Nobody answered our calls or emails about it. We should have stayed at Mountain Village. My boyfriend had wanted to stay here for years, so he was especially let down.
