The beds were comfortable, though they made a loud noise whenever you got on or off, enough to scare someone, lol. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. The room itself wasn't too bad, but the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. It's an okay motel for a cheap, short stay. The hotel keys were hard to use and my brother had to get replacements. He handled the customer service, so I can't really say how that was. It's a bit out of town, and after getting off the highway I had to loop around a couple of times to find it. That may have just been my GPS. There isn't much nearby.

Your car is right outside your room, so there's no going up and down, which is especially nice when elevators don't work. This place feels safe and peaceful, and the property is always clean and free of litter. Most of the things we look for when choosing where to stay are met here, and then some. I love it all around. Definitely worth staying here.

I was driving my daughter to a specialist appointment for type 1 diabetes when car trouble turned what should've been a four-hour trip into seven. My transmission was going out, so I could only drive so fast, and even a slight incline meant going 35 miles an hour. We checked in late, and I asked if we could at least use the room to freshen up. I was told no three times, even after I explained the car trouble and asked whether that counted as a valid reason under the cancellation policy. The woman working said she'd get back to me, so I gave her my number and waited. Lubbock is big and takes a long time to get around, and we were left with only 15 minutes before the appointment. We barely made it, and she never called.

The room was nice for the price, but I couldn't get even slightly warm water. For two days I had to take cold showers, despite being told it would be fixed. They knew the water wasn't getting hot when I checked in and never mentioned it. No discount was offered. I asked the owner for a 50% refund for Saturday and today. I'm not staying tonight because cold showers in winter aren't right. If I get sick, I'll send you the bill.
