I’ve been here eight nights, and housekeeping still hasn’t cleaned my room. The walls are so thin I can hear other guests coughing, sneezing, clearing their throats, and talking to their kids. The staff are nice, but the service has been horrible. They ran out of clean linens and gave me dusty, itchy sheets that didn’t fit the bed or pillows. My stove stopped working, and a maintenance man pushed the burner in hard enough to get it going for two days. After that it only worked off and on. Another maintenance worker came to my door, didn’t come in to check it, and said he’d replace it tomorrow. When I got back, mattresses were blocking my door, and nobody was available to move them.

I paid $500 for two nights while visiting a family member at her university, and it felt like they had raised the price because visitors were in town. For that much, I expected a clean, decent room. Instead, I left feeling gross and frustrated. What a scam. The room was filthy and neglected, with old, dusty furniture and a bathroom that looked straight out of the 90s. The smell of mildew, pot, and urine hit me as soon as I walked in, and was so foul that I felt like my throat was closing up. The air felt heavy. The lobby was just as bad, with dirty floors, a terrible smell, and a depressing atmosphere. The TV didn’t work, and the door kept locking up, so I had to call for help twice. Nothing felt safe, clean, or comfortable. It seemed like the place hadn’t been cared for in years. One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Save yourself the misery and spend your money somewhere else.

Spending $162 for one night because I need a kitchen should still get me a decent room. The Marriott is around $150 a night, and the condition of these rooms is totally unacceptable. You don’t always get what you pay for. Please don’t waste your hard-earned money here.

They said my $100 deposit would be returned as soon as we checked out, but that wasn’t true. I later found out it takes 3-10 business days. The hotel is overpriced and run down, and I was very disappointed. The room smelled awful, the floors were extremely dirty, and there was black mold on the restroom walls. I don’t recommend staying here.
