The walks and running routes start right outside, and Bowling Green is the place to go for food. Mammoth Caves is less than an hour away. I stayed here for work and it felt like a real treat compared with a hotel. Mornings meant a great breakfast and a fun chat with the host; at night I could soak in the tub and listen to records. Such a charming, comfortable find.

Dan and Erica made our granddaughter’s wedding celebration feel so elegant and charming. We’re already looking forward to their next murder mystery dinner. The house is beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. Barren Breeze Bed & Breakfast is hands-down one of the best getaway experiences we’ve had, with hosts who really make it special.

Our guests called the wedding reception an enchanting evening, and the food was amazing. Erica and Dan made sure everything came together just right. The owners are gracious and accommodating, easily the best we’ve encountered among the many B&Bs we’ve visited. We love them so much that we held our granddaughter’s reception at their venue, and it was such a beautiful, enjoyable experience.

We’re definitely coming back. The room was clean and well kept, with several luxurious touches, and the price was good. Dan and Erika were friendly and personable, and they’re great cooks. Breakfast had a distinctive flair and was excellent. It was my first bed and breakfast, set in a quiet, peaceful spot about 90 miles from Nashville and close to Barren Lake. I’d recommend checking it out any time of year.

The event space and the rooms my team used were both excellent, with every detail in place. I hosted a conference at Barren Breeze in March, and the owners were delightful and helpful throughout. The food and decor were great too. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot near the lake, and I’d happily recommend it for an event or a vacation.
