Luck Country Inn

I've stayed here several times and would come back, though the rooms don't feel like the best value. Shower pressure varies by room, and some could use a boost. The staff can seem cold and could be a bit more cheerful. It's not the worst place I've stayed, but friendlier service would be nice.

At $130 a night, I felt better off sleeping in my car, where at least I wouldn't get bed bugs. They were running all over the filthy rooms, and the pool was ice cold. The man in charge was rude. This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Watch out for the owner.

We paid $312 for two rooms, $156 each, and I don't think they were worth it. Half that price would have felt more reasonable. The website says there's a restaurant on site, but there isn't one. The place is worn down and outdated. The common area carpet looked dirty, there were snags in our “suite” carpet, and the sofa arm had a burn mark. Spiders crawled on the bed, and one mirror in the room with 2 queen beds was propped against the wall. Two guests slept in their clothes because they weren't comfortable under the covers or sheets. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The bed was comfortable and the room was nice, and they let me check in an hour early. When my sister and her family decided to join me for a swim, the staff were accommodating and helpful. They charged the usual $10 fee, which was no problem. I was very pleased with my stay at the Luck Country Inn and will return someday.
