The shower felt especially good after a hike at Enchanted Rock, and our room was thoughtfully put together and stayed at a comfortable temperature. I’d worried that staying outside Fredericksburg might mean giving up convenience or comfort, but the Full Moon Inn made that concern disappear. The garden and wide views make a lovely first impression, and the welcoming feel carries through the whole place. Jenny and Doug were a big part of what made it special, with great stories and such warm hospitality. We also enjoyed the family-style breakfast as a chance to meet the other guests. We’d be glad to return soon.

I wound up extending my stay because I wasn’t ready to leave, and I’m already thinking about coming back. The quiet, beautiful property made it easy to unplug and reset, with a warmth that was there from the moment I arrived. Seeing the goats, chickens, and turkeys was one of the highlights and made this feel like a memorable break from everyday life. The hospitality was wonderful, and you can feel how much care and love have gone into the place. A lovely choice for a peaceful getaway.

The 1776 bar out back was a lot of fun, and its pride in our nation and military really came through. We stayed in the Texas Sunset rooms and loved the visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were very nice and accommodating. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely stay here.

The room had everything we needed, and breakfast was great. We arrived late for just one night, but ended up spending the whole evening at the bar, chatting over drinks in great company. Doug and Jenny are brilliant people, and we'd happily recommend the place to anyone nearby. Thanks to you both, and best wishes from UK/Lithuania 🙂

We loved having a cool bar where we could stop for an afternoon drink, and the service was awesome. The room and bed were very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The mimosas were a nice touch too.
