Ludlow Colonial Motel

I've stayed here on my annual trips for the past three years and will definitely be back. The rooms are pleasant and clean, with a microwave, fridge, and a big closet for hanging wet ski gear. Staff are friendly, and housekeeping service is excellent. It's a great location, five minutes from Okemo mountain and close to several local places with extremely good food. Highly recommend!

The whole stay was a mess, and it was over in just 1.5 hours even though we’d booked three nights. At check-in, my girlfriend and I already felt uneasy. The room was dirty, the reception area smelled bad, and there was something on the floor that looked like a needle cap. We tried to make the best of being somewhere unfamiliar, but the advertised pool turned out to be a seasonal one that was frozen over. We decided to find another hotel and found one about 30 minutes away with a really nice pool for the same price. The woman at the Best Western desk refused to refund us, even though the pool listing was wrong. She raised her voice, and the conversation became hostile while we were speaking normally. I also contacted Best Western and was told this location had been removed from the chain in 2016, though it still presents itself as affiliated. Now we have to dispute the charge, document the problems, and pay for the room we’re staying in instead. I’m glad we can do that, but I worry about people who think they’ve found a good deal and end up in a CRACK SHACK. I was shaking with emotion. A hotel shouldn’t raise its voice at guests, especially when they’re trying to have a vacation. Enjoy the pictures. You have been warned!

I’ve stayed here before, and it’s become my go-to when I come to okemo. The rooms are huge, the staff are friendly, and it’s close to the mountain. There’s plenty for a couple nights, including a microwave, fridge, and places to hang wet snowboard clothes. Great room for the price. Give it a try.

The location is good, the bed was fine, and the shower did the job. I last stayed here about ten years ago, and it felt quite different this time, like it may have changed hands. So much needed repair. The pool was closed, the air conditioning quit in the middle of the night, and it took more than five tries to get the door lock to work. Don’t expect much. Nobody offered WiFi, though maybe we should have asked.
