Home2 Suites By Hilton Lufkin, Tx

I've stayed here a few times, and the hotel is okay. Just be aware that arriving early and checking in then costs $50, unless you're a Diamond member.

The room was spacious and clean, with the usual amenities for this chain, and the hotel itself is very nice. Since it's a new property, there were a few snags, like a loud bathroom fan, but the staff was helpful in sorting them out. Breakfast had a good variety, and the stay turned out well.

Our 2 Queen Bedroom suite had plenty of space and felt modern and clean. It came with a sink, microwave, dishwasher, cabinets, full-size fridge, desk, a dedicated place to hang clothes, and a comfortable seating area. There were lots of outlets and lighting options, which made working from the room easy. The bathroom was roomy, with a sleek shower that looked brand new. The lobby and gym were in good shape, and we especially liked the outdoor seating area with a kitchen. The app's digital key was convenient, and checking out through it was seamless. But the check-in instructions were misleading: the app made it sound like a button would do it, while we still had to show ID at the front desk. They also don't offer late checkout, with 11 a.m. as the standard, which was disappointing compared with many hotels. Noise was about average, with footsteps and things being dropped audible, though it was a little quieter than most places we've stayed. We'd definitely return. This is easily the best hotel option in Lufkin, Texas.

This is the place I'd choose in Lufkin. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly, and the hotel quiet.
