The staff were easily the friendliest I’ve met in a long time, from booking right through to the end. Our room was spacious and reasonably clean. We had to ask for fresh linens, and the pillows were poor quality. Both the comforter and sheets had holes. This wasn’t Hilton or Marriott, but it also wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed. With an unexpected death in the family and bus travel, it was the only place we could find that fit our budget. At checkout, when I opened the door, a barking dog ran up to it. I’m very afraid of dogs, so that was upsetting. The woman apologized, but I still don’t think it should have happened. Pets may be welcome for people who like them, but it shouldn’t be assumed everyone does, and it didn’t feel professional for a business people are paying to stay at.

Cindy and her daughter Rhiannon were such a warm, energetic pair, and I felt very safe there. The room was spotless and had a toaster, coffee pot, TV, microwave, refrigerator, real dishes and cutlery, plus the usual towels and soap. There was also a washer and dryer I could use. Best place I’ve ever stayed. Thanks for the hospitality, Cindy.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s a safe, quiet place, though there isn’t much to do around there. It’s an outside concept, and NOLA is about a 30 minute drive away.

The hotel itself is great, and the workers are fabulous. Cindy and bri especially always take care of us. The number Google lists is the problem: it goes to an automated call center, where you might not understand what’s being said, be told they can’t accommodate you even though the actual hotel probably can, or get quoted a totally different price. I’ve attached a photo of the number to call directly.

Cindy was so kind and accommodating, and our room was really spacious. They let us check out late, and she even let us leave our dogs in the room while we got breakfast so they wouldn’t get hot in the car. It’s close enough for an easy visit to New Orleans, and felt much safer and quieter as a place to stay. I had a great stay and would love to come back.
