The carpets throughout were stained, and the hotel was extremely dated and disgustingly dirty. Our bedding was heavily stained too, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The TV remote didn't work. When I went to the desk, they handed me a piece of paper and told me to program it myself, but that didn't fix anything. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Judging from the condition of the place, I assume they deal with complaints like these every day. Keep driving.

We were glad they offered a hot breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Still, one of the beds hadn't been made and had no covers when we got to the room. I'd avoid a room facing the highway because the traffic noise was really loud.

There were cockroaches crawling on the walls and floors, and the guest room carpeting was visibly dirty and stained. The sheets and blankets were stained, torn, and shredded, and some walls were missing electrical covers. The hotel's condition was profoundly unsatisfactory. When I reported it to the front desk at checkout, one staff member said, "I don’t know how anyone stays here. This is like Joe’s apartment."

The front desk clerk was wonderful, and she said they had a plan to remodel the whole property, which sounds like a great idea. The place was cheap, but it felt like a dump. The building exterior was dirty, the hallways were worn and dated, and the pool was a blackish green color. Our double queen room was dirty too. The comforters had holes, there was a thick white gooey stain on the curtains, and the tub was chipped with paint missing in spots.
