Tru By Hilton Lumberton

This is my yearly stop when I'm passing through, and I had another fantastic stay at Tru by Hilton Lumberton. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was spotless, fresh, and comfortable. I also liked the fun lobby with its pool table and games, plus the impressive fitness center with treadmills, Peloton bikes, and TRX equipment. The laundry area was clean and convenient too. It's a clean, modern hotel with good amenities, and I'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

I was impressed enough with Tru by Hilton Lumberton to refer my out of state family from Pennsylvania to book rooms here. The hotel has modern decor, contemporary architecture, and stylish furnishings. As soon as you walk in, a high end diffuser scent gives it a luxury hotel feel. The staff were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and handled our needs with care and efficiency. You can see how much pride they take in hospitality through the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes an upscale feel and attentive service.

We stayed on a Saturday, and there was plenty to do inside the hotel. The lounge had a pool table, games, and nice indoor and outdoor seating. My husband especially wanted to use the grill. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices. We even liked the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner they provide. The location was great for food and shopping, with places within walking distance and a short drive. It was our first time at Tru, and we told the staff on the way out that we'd be staying with them again after such a good experience.

Loved this stop, highly recommend it. The inside and outside are beautiful, and I like the simple, eclectic vibe. Breakfast was much nicer than at the more expensive Hampton Inn, which is also Hilton: more choices, real plates and glassware, and metal utensils. Lots of juice options and cool seating spots too. The room had what we needed, a big shower, plenty of outlets, and a large TV with a remote that worked. Towels were adequate, not luxurious, but good enough. There are plenty of EV chargers outside. The big lounge has a pool table and hanging chairs, and there was even a water bottle filler. Easy access to I-95, with a WaWa next door for gas.
