The pillows smelled moldy and the blankets were filthy. The whole third floor reeked like a cat litter box that hadn’t been cleaned in months. The sink faucet was nearly falling off, and turning on the microwave shut off the fridge. I couldn’t even get fresh air because a metal strip had been drilled in place to keep the window from opening. I’d give it negative five stars if I could.

We’ve stayed here almost ten times, and the front desk staff have always been kind when we check in. It’s right in the heart of Luna pier, with an easy walk to the beach and pier. My husband and I love coming here for a quiet evening away from home, and bringing our pet recently was easy too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful trip with a pet friendly hotel.

It’s cheap, and a lot less than an Airbnb, with the beach nearby. The room and the rest of the hotel were clean, with no bugs or smells. It’s not Hilton great, but it’s a wonderful place to stay in Luna pier. Management was so friendly. I’m not sure why the reviews are so harsh, they’re doing great, and I highly recommend it! 🫶✨️

The gentleman at the counter was lovely, but that was the best part. Roaches were everywhere, and the mix of animal and human pee stink with cigarette odor was nauseating. Don’t try to save money here, go someplace better!

The rooms are dated, though clean and quiet, and I didn’t see any signs of insects. There’s a strange industrial smell in the rooms, the same as outside, like a typical "downriver" odor. I got rid of it by putting perfume on a towel over the air register. The staff were friendly, polite, and accommodating.
