Hotel Laurance

I’ve stayed at this property several times, and it’s been absolutely perfect on every visit. The location, simple check-in and check-out, amenities, and decor in each suite all make it somewhere I’d highly recommend.

It’s peaceful and quiet, but you’re still connected to town. A nice walk down the street takes you to hometown restaurants and cozy boutiques. The manager, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing, with hospitality and a willingness to accommodate that are next to none. Everything about staying here is wonderful.

The room had a kitchenette, which worked perfectly for putting together breakfast for us and friends who joined our Shenandoah trip. A whisk was the one thing I wished it had. The place was quiet, smelled great, and was nicely done. We liked the architecture, layout, and interior design. We never saw employees until I started looking for a singing teapot, grandfather clock, rose under glass, and so on. It was a lovely place to stay, not far from the park entrance for hiking.

We spent four nights here while visiting Shenandoah NP, and Jenn made check-in and the stay smooth and easy. Room 2, Jordan, had plenty of space for two adults and our 8 month old. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking necessities, so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Some parts of the park were only a 30 ish minute drive away, and the coffee shop is a must, we walked there. The hotel and Luray were a great spot.
