The lobby looks clean and nice, but the rooms are dated and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. There was a strong disinfectant smell in our room. The lighting was awful: just one small light under the TV, and the bedside light was so bright it hurt my eyes if I left it on. The bathroom was decent and the shower had plenty of pressure, though the showerhead couldn’t be adjusted. The toilet was extremely low, probably only 2 feet from the ground, so it’d be really hard for an older person to use. The elevator also sounded like it could break at any moment.

Addy looked after breakfast and made a great meal. She was smiling and pleasant, and it was the first buffet in a long time where everything was piping hot. Our room was very clean and well appointed, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and we could adjust the temperature to our liking.

Jhalil from housekeeping was a pleasure to talk to. When we asked for extra towels, he was very polite and helpful, and he also took the time to suggest local hidden gems around Lynchburg for food and fun. That added a lot to our trip. We were very pleased with how clean and well-kept the rooms at the Microtel in Lynchburg, VA were. Everything felt fresh, organized, and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. It’s nice to find a place where the staff seem to care about guests and take pride in their work. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Ms Addy was the best at breakfast. She took care of every need, made a wonderful meal, and we chatted like sisters. I highly recommend this hotel, it’s a great value. Ms Phyllis from NY. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was very clean, with great hot water and heat. There was space for everything, and the bed was comfy with soft pillows.

The two queen room was clean and tidy, and the water pressure was great. It’s a standard hotel room, but the cleanliness made a difference. The check-in staff were friendly too. A shout-out to Addy for making and serving breakfast this morning. She’s so sweet and friendly, and made our day.
