Mission Motel

There was no deposit fee, so we could find another hotel nearby. The room we were given smelled strongly of cigar smoke, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. It hadn't been vacuumed, and the restroom hadn't been cleaned properly.

Pretty cheap and not a bad spot. Jessie was really cool and gave great service.

There was a cigarette smell in the first room they offered. The room felt like a cavern when you walked in, and the window was broken so people could get in. It was dirty and extremely bare. You could hear cars all night, along with a party.

The parking lot was busy all night, with constant traffic, shady-looking men, and half-dressed girls running around and standing on the corner to bring people in. I believe human trafficking is rampant and obvious here, and that management knows and allows it. I've never stayed in a scarier hotel. The rooms didn't seem to have been cleaned at all since the previous *ahem* "patrons." There were bright red hairs everywhere, everything was dirty, and we saw cockroaches. The room cleaners were men, which made me think the owners know it's unsafe for women to clean or work there. We were so scared that we stayed out until sunrise, when the creeps finally went to bed or left. I wish we'd had the money to stay somewhere else. The room felt like it belonged in the movie Saw. If you're into this kind of thing, this is the place for you. But couples and families traveling should stay away.
