Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville North - Springfield by IHG

The breakfast spread was great, and the room was modern with plenty of space to put our things. The bed was comfortable, and the price felt decent for a good stay. Cleanliness and security matter most to me when I travel for work, and Holiday Inn Express rooms are usually clean and modern. I’d probably book this location again. I did have two concerns. The room was stifling at check-in because the heat was set to 77, though it cooled down quickly. It also could have been cleaner. I bring sanitizing wipes for a quick wipe-down, and found floor stains, wall scuffs, and hair in the bathroom. One of the two queen beds also had what looked like animal hair. The other bed and its linens seemed clean, so I didn’t complain, but it looked as if the linens on the other bed might not have been changed after the previous guest, perhaps because it didn’t look slept in.

The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and everything I needed for a stress-free stay. The hotel is far enough from Nashville to feel quieter, but close enough to get into the city quickly. It was clean and well kept from the lobby through to the rooms, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and made an effort to welcome me. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of choices, which made the mornings easy. Check-in through check-out was smooth and pleasant. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to the area for work or leisure.

I was in town for three days and would stay here again on my next visit to Springfield in February next year. The owner was on site and made sure I was taken care of. Check-in was quick, my clean room was ready, and it had a decent view. The staff were friendly and professional. The pool was one of the cleanest I’ve seen at a hotel in a long time, and I took a dip after a quick workout in the adequate gym. The new coffee machine was handy for a to-go cup. I was tired at night, so it was nice that the small shop had my favorite beers and I didn’t need to go out. And a good hotel breakfast in the morning makes my stay ten times better. Last month’s visit was a pleasant experience all around.

We’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield Tennessee for Christmas, my wedding, our anniversary, and birthdays, and it’s always been great. Ashley really went above and beyond for my partner and me this anniversary. The room was set up with candles, rose petals, balloons in the middle of the bed, and the cutest swans on it. I can’t thank Ashley and my partner enough for making another perfect memory! The rooms are always clean, and the guest service beats anywhere I’ve stayed. Y’all keep doing such a marvelous job!
