Island Sands 210 1 Bedroom Condo

We had a beautiful ocean view, and the steady breeze helped keep the room cool. The windows aren’t sturdy or well sealed, though, so strong gusts made a whistling sound that woke us some nights. The room itself was roomy and looked great, with basic cooking and laundry supplies included. A few things need attention: the front screen door was coming apart, its inside handle was broken, and the patio screen sat crooked with about an inch of space at the top. We pushed the front screen door pieces together and it seemed to stay in place. The lockbox didn’t always open the main door, but turning the knob up seemed to work more reliably than turning it down. Even with those issues, we’d stay again.

We spent a week here through AirBnb, and I loved it. The room was wonderfully stocked, and from our balcony we watched sea turtles, dolphins, and whales. Such incredible views, and just a beautiful place to stay.

It worked nicely for a family vacation since everyone had their own space and could do their own thing. The room came with wake boards and beach toys for the kids, and there’s no cleaning service until you leave. Some repairs are needed, especially on the screen doors. The windows let the air through like blinds and don’t close tightly, so the wind makes a whiny noise.

We loved our ocean-view condo and would definitely come back. The pool and grounds were kept up well, and having an assigned parking space worked out nicely. The place itself was lovely and well maintained.
