Kanai A Nalu

The courtyard is a fun spot, with the pool at the far end and the ocean in view. You can stretch out by the pool or on the grass and enjoy it. There are two BBQs, which make grilling with other people easy. The accommodations were amazing, and you’re right by the beach, only a short walk from the sand and sea.

The condo was a little slice of Heaven, with a big family table by the bbq and waves crashing loudly right beside you. The surf may have taken away some of the sandy beach, but there’s still enough to invite a romantic walk next door. Outside, you’re practically standing in Heaven. My mother-in-law booked with Barb and Larry, and I’m grateful they shared this place with my family. It was my husband’s and my first time in Hawaii, and my daughter was visiting her grandparents, so it was a special occasion. Being #VegasBorn, top-notch hospitality is my thing, and I appreciated the beautiful decor and amenities. The home had the essentials for cleanliness and goodliness, plus boogie boards and handwritten excursion notes with my daughter in mind. I could go on, but I’m boarding a flight back to Vegas. I’ll be back stronger, thanks to their FREE beach gym.

Amy was wonderful about checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. The room was spotless, the King sized bed was comfortable, and the lanai view was amazing. We stayed in room 305, and the property was beautiful. Each morning we watched the sun rise from the lanai, then enjoyed sunset from the grounds. We spotted turtles on the rocks below on our first day, and kept seeing the sweet cats that seem to “own” the property, along with roosters and chickens. Amy even brought toppers for the twin beds, which weren’t very comfortable for me since I’m a big girl. Somehow, though, I slept better than ever throughout the trip. Maybe it was the Maui air, the nearby ocean, or something else. The room had an almost ridiculous number of amenities, in a good way: binoculars, which we only found on our last day, books, games, beach chairs, coolers, life jackets, beach toys, and pretty much anything else you might need.
