The room was clean and spacious, and the beach was nice and less crowded than other spots. It’s quieter than central Kihei and closer to Makenna beach. We enjoyed the walking path to the bird sanctuary, where we spotted turtles near the boat launch. The bed was awful and shifted whenever we took a breath. Tree trimming started noisily at 7am. It was interesting to watch, but waiting until at least 8, as guests are asked to do, would have been better. Free parking, but the spaces are TIGHT.

We had a beautiful view of the pool and beach from our room, and the service was great. It was handy to have rentals, a store, and a place to book excursions onsite. Tracy is the best! The restaurant wasn’t ready during our visit, so we took a pleasant walk along the beach to find somewhere to eat. We loved the stay and will definitely be back.

Our unit, 801A, was just like the photos, with smart decor and modern appliances. My wife and I had a great spot, high up but closest to the ocean, with a stunning view. The big sliding glass doors and screen let us drift off to the sound of the water every night. The pool was warm and lovely, with loungers and umbrellas, and the ocean is right out back. The basement fitness center was popular and had working equipment and weights, though its hallway felt off-putting, unfinished, and cluttered with storage items. There was also a book library by the elevators. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We rented SUPs from the onsite water sports shop and had a great time; the 808 store was convenient for snacks and drinks. Mana Kai is well placed for exploring Kihei and nearby Wailea, where the beach path is great for walks or runs. We loved staying here.

With its sandy beach right on the water and a nice-sized pool, Mana Kai makes a great vacation spot. The 808 store sells food and drinks, and the rental shop has what you need for a beach holiday. I’d definitely stay here again.

We walked the excellent beach every morning, and the location is hard to beat. The room was clean and okay, with a well-equipped kitchen. Housekeeping only comes every three days, and our AC didn’t work. Would I come back? Most definitely.
