We had a very nice stay at the Harbour View Inn. The property is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the location is peaceful once the ferries stop for the day, while still being close to downtown. The room in the guest house had a shared balcony we enjoyed, with a view of the water. There wasn't a refrigerator in our room when we arrived, so I asked at the front desk if one might be available. The clerk was happy to help and called housekeeping right away. Luckily, they had one to spare. We appreciated having breakfast included. The choices were light and nice, though they didn't change much from day to day, aside from the different dessert style breads. We'd definitely recommend Harbour View Inn.

We chose a queen room in the main building because we wanted the option of a harbor view. The balcony, shared with another room that was unoccupied, had a beautiful view and four chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable, with the sink and mirror in the room alongside it. All the staff were extremely friendly, and we were very pleased with breakfast. There were abundant food choices and plenty of space to socialize, including a large parlor, a small parlor, the outdoor balcony and patio tables and chairs. The location isn't downtown, which made it nice to get away from the crowds.

The shared spaces look lovely after their updates, and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a great stay with our family of five. Our kids are 8, 10, and 11, and there was plenty of room for us. It was calm enough to relax, while still close to downtown without being in the middle of the summer crowds. Breakfast was a nice extra for all of us. We’re looking forward to seeing the renovated rooms next year.

The in-room jacuzzi more than made up for not having a mini fridge or microwave. Staff were friendly, check-in and checkout were easy, and they handled our luggage really well. They got our bags to the ferry right on time. We had a great stay.

Breakfast was nice, though it may be tricky if you have dietary restrictions. We were comfortable in our sweetly furnished room. Some parts have seen better days, but the planned 2026 renovation should give them new life. Small fridges can be provided if you request one in advance.
