The porch is lovely, and I can see why so many guests return. I spent three midweek days here in October for my first visit, and the staff were amazing, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the island, from places to watch the sunset to handling luggage. I could see myself joining the “see you next year” club. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There’s internet, a TV (which I never switched on), private bathrooms, and breakfast with the usual hot and cold options.

It was great being near downtown without having to deal with the crowd noise. We had such a lovely weekend and will definitely return. They held our luggage so we could explore before check-in, and breakfast was a nice start to the day. In the afternoon, the cookies, tea, and coffee were welcome treats. The bedroom was cute and comfortable, and the property itself is beautiful. Congrats on 40 years in operation!

The porch was such a peaceful place to sit, listen to birds and hear the horse carriages go by. The owners are delightful, friendly, and very hands-on, and they made the whole stay comfortable, with delicious homemade breakfast and afternoon treats. My only suggestions would be fresh fruit in the morning and hot water for tea in the evening. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

The hosts and accommodations were great. The front porch is cozy and cute, and a relaxing place to sit any time of day. The location also makes it easy to walk to just about anything you might want to do on the island.

Our first B & B stay felt really homey. The people running it were super nice and always pleasant, and there was a hot breakfast that changed each day. Every room is a little different; we stayed in the " Gurdon S Hubbard " room. The B & B is on Main street, just a block back from Lake Shore Dr. We had a great stay.
