Both my partner and I developed respiratory problems after being exposed to mold in our first room, which had leaking pipes, black mold around the ceiling, and filthy floors I had to clean myself. Staff denied the room’s condition and refused to move us overnight. Hotel employees entered without knocking, and another guest even walked in. The next day we were moved, but that room was still dirty, rundown, and poorly maintained. Breakfast was terrible, and later we were told we counted as an extended stay and had to pay to wash our own towels and linens. When I raised the issues, staff and owners got hostile, screamed at me, and had maintenance and security threaten and yell in my face. This was unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. Avoid this place.

For $47 before tax, or $63 total, I got a room that was basically fine for one night on a business trip, though pretty rundown. The sheets and towels were clean, and I didn’t see bugs or cobwebs. The furniture was old and worn, with scuffs all over the walls and door and faded paint where pictures had once hung. The old shower faucet dripped constantly and kept me awake, even after I wrapped a towel around it. Internet was good, at 65 Mbps down and 20 Mpbs up. A little TLC would make a big difference.

I rented the room for an army buddy who needed a place, and this was my first time here. Keep your receipt and check out at the desk in person. They put a $50 incidental hold on your card and require you to show your ID and receipt. Most hotels let you leave without going back to the desk, but here they won’t automatically release the $50 if you do. I still had the receipt in my car 12 days later, luckily. This tactic is awful. It used to be an area where you needed to watch your surroundings. The place is owned by people who buy up all the convenience stores.

We went through three rooms before getting one that was both clean and unoccupied. Someone was still in the first room, and the second hadn’t been cleaned. The heater was loud but never warmed the room, which needed updating. There wasn’t an extra blanket, or even one on the bed. The room looked nothing like the picture.
