I've stayed at The Wilder Farm Inn with family, friends, and on my own, and it's worked perfectly for every occasion and season. The location, rooms, food, cleanliness, service, grounds, pottery studio, and all the little things are wonderful. The decor is modern and elegant, with Luke and Linda's artistry showing in even the tiniest details. They feel like top-rate hosts because they're top-rate people. I felt like family within minutes of arriving, and that feeling only grows during a stay. Luke's breakfasts are outstanding, and Linda's service and afternoon treats are hard to resist. On my last visit, Luke took me on a very challenging snowshoe hike, which gave me a great workout and a tour of the valley's epic trails. The private beer tours are worth asking about, and make sure you try all three breakfast courses. Whether you're into food, beer, outdoor sports, or just relaxing and enjoying the finer things, go visit The Wilder Farm Inn and let Luke and Linda help you get the most out of the beautiful Mad River Valley. I've been many times, and it was about time I wrote a review. This duo has thought of everything. Your mind will be blown!

The place felt secluded but was still close to markets, restaurants, and plenty more. It's also centrally located in Vermont, with Burlington and the airport not far away, and easy drives to beautiful spots, hikes, and towns including Stowe, Killington, and Woodstock. My family and I spent ten fall days at the Slopeside Luxury at Sugarbush property. It's one of the best home rentals I've stayed in by far: beautiful throughout, with pristine, extremely comfortable rooms and furniture, plus incredible views. It's very well run and set up exceptionally well for a large group or family trip. I couldn't recommend it more.

We felt comfortable the second we arrived. The innkeepers are a great source for local adventures, and I'll absolutely come back on my next Vermont trip. The place balances classic charm with modern comfort, and we had the best sleep of our trip. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and different each day.

I've been coming here in different seasons: great skiing in winter, biking in spring, the Mad river in summer, and gorgeous fall leaves. The area restaurants are amazing, the price is very reasonable, and the home is cozy and warm, with a big fireplace in the comfy living room as well as the breakfast room. Breakfast is great, with many organic ingredients, especially delicious pancakes. A huge bonus is the pottery shop, where I learned to make a cool guacamole bowl. Luke and Linda are awesome hosts, and it feels like a home away from home. We even saw a moose on our last visit. Can't beat that. I can't wait to go back.

I spent time relaxing around the property when I wasn't out exploring, reading with a glass of wine on the rocking chairs along the wraparound porch. It's a really comfortable place, and the bed was extremely comfortable too, so I slept great both nights. The owners were kind and informative, with helpful tips on nearby restaurants and mountain bike trails. We tried both outings and wouldn't miss them. Breakfast was amazing: one morning brought farm-fresh huevos ranchos with local hot sauce, fruit, and vegetables; the next, homemade pancakes with real oats and VT maple syrup. The shower pressure was good too, something I'm picky about. It was my first visit to Vermont, and this charming B&B was a highlight of the state. My favorite bed and breakfast experience all around.
