The rooms are kept very clean and quiet, with a daily refresh. I also had a really good lean burger at the restaurant. The M Club food was a highlight: fresh salad and a cheese plate in the evening, plus grilled vegetables and oatmeal with plenty of toppings in the morning. I'm gluten sensitive, and the staff were very accommodating. Everyone I dealt with, from the front desk and lounge to the bar and dinner service, was friendly. Amalia even wrapped up a plate of fresh salad and put it in a bag when I asked to take it upstairs.

The conference setup and catering have both been great, and the rooms are beautiful. I came in expecting little from an airport hotel, but the service and the property have been impressive. There's a popular, well equipped gym and a Starbucks in the lobby. The hotel is also right beside the Bay Trail, which is handy for a walk or run.

At least the buffet breakfast is very good, and elite members get a private dining room. But the rooms are so dark, the shower barely trickles, and there aren't any drawers for clothes. This used to be a great hotel. It's sad to see.

I had dinner at Flights View Lounge, and both the food and service were good. The $15 credit from the $25 destination charge only applied if I put the bill on my room, which made it feel like I was being pushed to spend that money. My water view room was okay, though not very large, and I was disappointed that the M Club Lounge only opened for weekend breakfast despite having booked a room with lounge access. Other Marriott hotels open their M Clubs more often. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The hotel is very close to San Francisco International Airport, has a frequent free shuttle, and you can see the runway from the property. I've stayed here before, and this was a quick overnight visit over the weekend. I may come back.

The restaurant was convenient and had a nice range of food and drinks, though it was expensive. Dival gave excellent service, and the luggage concierge had a scale so I could check my bags before flying. The destination charge includes perks such as free luggage tags and a restaurant discount, so it's worth making use of them. This worked really well for an overnight before my flight from SFO. I dropped off my rental car there the night I arrived, and the hotel is close to a Shell station for refueling and a highway entrance to the airport. The shuttle runs regularly, picks up at the international terminal departures, and the service was friendly. Great experience, and I'll return whenever I can. #recommended #bechego
