The bathroom was the biggest problem. The fixed shower sprayed water everywhere, and the water left a soapy feeling that irritated my skin. Once it got onto the floor, even a thin film made it dangerously slick. I slipped and spent a day in the ER because they suspected a concussion. I’ve stayed in hotels in many countries and never had anything like that happen. Wear shoes in the shower and put towels on the floor. Management needs to address this. The rest of the setup felt odd too. The bed was beside the bathroom, so I couldn’t see the TV from it. Shampoo came in cheap shared bottles attached to the wall. At breakfast, the woman serving it looked exhausted and snapped, “What do you want? Why are you standing here?” before sighing. I was waiting to order at the counter, since there’s no buffet. The place seems more concerned with how it looks than guest comfort. If this had been a Motel 6, I might have given it another star, but it certainly isn’t a Marriott.

The bathroom could use a deep clean or renovation, it looked pretty dated. Apart from that, I had a good stay. My room was quiet, which matters to me, and the bed was comfortable. The property sits by the water in a fairly peaceful area, with the beach nearby. Staff were friendly and parking was easy.

David at the front desk made a real difference, sharing personal suggestions for nearby attractions and places to eat that we wouldn’t have found ourselves. Everyone was friendly, polite, and quick to bring anything we needed, including extra towels, always with a smile. My wife and I were overdue for a break, and this Courtyard Marriott was a great place to unwind. The bay views from the rooms were beautiful, and we spent plenty of time relaxing in the pool and hot tub. The location also made it easy to get to nearby attractions. With the scenery and attentive service, it felt like good value. We’ll come back when we need another getaway. Highly recommend!

We had a clean, tidy room with a little balcony overlooking a small marina and the bridge. We even left the balcony door open overnight to get some fresh air. The staff were all so nice. It was a lovely place to spend an extra night before meeting family for a long weekend, beside the cutest beachy American legion. We walked to the pizza place next door, which was close, really good, and had a cool outdoor bar.

The pool was welcoming and really nice, and overall we enjoyed staying here. The manager was accommodating when we asked to switch rooms. We’d been put in a handicap room, and the shower/tub area was just too small for us. Breakfast seemed a bit overpriced for food that was cooked in an oven instead of made fresh. Even a small OJ was $5 🥴.
