Snug Harbor Inn

Being just under 10 rooms, this place felt almost like we had it to ourselves. The beds were super comfortable, and the remodeled rooms and amenities were great, including a heated, lighted pool on the water. The beach is right across the street, while John's Pass Village, with its many restaurants and bars, is about a 10-12 minute walk down Gulf Boulevard or a minute by car. This hidden gem on Madiera Beach is awesome!

I flew in from Michigan for my sister’s wedding, and Jennifer greeted us at Snug Harbor with a smile and free drink coupons for the local bar. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the maid service was top notch. Guests can enjoy a beautiful pool area with a tiki bar. I highly recommend this place.

With mini and full kitchens in the rooms, it’s easy to save on food and cook on the grill by the pool. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is across the street. This quaint hotel sits on the Inter-coastal waterway and has boat slips where you can dock poolside. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s lovely for couples or families. We’ll definitely be back!

Jennifer met us at the car, then showed us our rooms and around the beautiful, relaxing property. We were in St Petersburg, Fla. after arriving on September 3, when my sister was very sick and passed away Sunday morning. We needed somewhere to stay and found Snug Harbor. We had our grandchildren with us, and they were so excited to meet Ms Jennifer. My family and I were treated like we mattered, which is hard to find these days. Everything was wonderful and just what we needed at such a sad time. I loved how family oriented it was, though it would also be a great place for a romantic getaway. Thank you and your staff for all you did for us. We’ll come back again.
