Those two breakfasts were outstanding, and I slept really well in the impressive, comfortable bed. I spent two relaxing nights by myself in the Hoffman room. The restored 1880's building feels like stepping back in time, and David and Marcia were the hosts, though I mostly spoke with David. He knows the area well and gave me great ideas for places to visit. The staircase up to the room looked daunting, but I took it slowly with my 70 year old arthritic knees and managed fine. There were plenty of outlets for my devices, including one in the bathroom. I skipped the deep clawfoot tub because of my knees, but the shower had strong pressure and lots of hot water. No complaints from me. Since it's close to home, I hope to come back and explore more.

A lovely spot for a relaxing night away. We could easily walk around the small town, and the next morning we had a wonderful breakfast with coffee. We spent Valentine's Day here for an overnight getaway. The owners were so sweet and surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries from the restaurant across the street.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and we had a great time chatting with some of the other guests over the meal. We were in the area for a wedding, and being just across the river from St. Louis worked out well. The B&B owners were wonderful people, and everything felt top notch. We much preferred the stay to a hotel room. We had an absolutely wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it.

Our room was beautiful, with lots of thoughtful details, and the breakfasts were deliciously prepared and elegantly presented. Maeysville is an amazing historic village, and the Corner George is a special part of it. Bob and Marcia were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We stayed in the lovely cottage, which has an authentic 1800's feel along with handy touches like a mini fridge, microwave, and modern bathroom fixtures. The patio, tucked away like a secret garden, was the perfect place for my boyfriend to propose. The Corner George Inn sits in a charming little town full of historic buildings and friendly people. It felt like a magical break from the city, less than an hour from St. Louis, and the Innkeepers were delightful.
