Smoky Falls Lodge

The cleaning ladies did a great job, and our room was very clean. It had a fireplace, but we couldn’t use it, and we only found that out on the third day because nobody was at the front desk for two days. It’s a decent place with a lot of potential, though the owners need to pay more attention to the building and grounds. I wish I owned it. We switched from a room with a king and queen to one king bedroom, but the price didn’t change, which was disappointing.

A quiet place with a nice small-town countryside feel. There are rocking chairs outside where you can sit and relax, and the hotel staff were very pleasant.

Such a cozy, clean place. There was plenty of room for our family of four, including our three teenage boys.

We spent four days and three nights here and got a great rate walking in for an upstairs two-bedroom room for the two of us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our TV wouldn’t connect, so I left a note the first morning, and a new one was there when we got back that afternoon. We only wanted the weather channel. The room and bathroom were clean and looked after daily, and the laundry machines were free. Dollar General is across the street for supplies, along with a Greek restaurant. The Tavern had great food and drinks, though it was closed Monday night. There was live music outside, but they wrapped up before 9 PM and it was quiet after that. Parking was ample, and the covered patio by the street had chairs and a table for relaxing and watching traffic. I just wish the window shades were better because the streetlight was bright.
