Veda Inn & Cottages

The owners, David and Natalia, made sure my stay was peaceful, and I really appreciated their personal care. I was passing through Maggie Valley last week and needed somewhere for one night, so I found Veda Inn & Cottages at the last minute after liking how clean and nice it looked in the photos. The place had a quaint feel and was impressively clean. My wife and I have stayed at some very nice hotels in Miami that weren’t as clean. They clearly understand how much a neat, comfortable stay matters.

We spent our mornings having tea on the porch by the river, with butterflies from the nearby mountains filling the front garden on sunny days. The townhouse, offered by Natalia and David, was well laid out and well maintained, thanks to the housekeepers. When we had trouble with the room locker, this lovely couple even came by after 11:30 pm on a Sunday to help. I’m not sure this kind of heartfelt service is common these days, but their hospitality and care for customers really impressed us. We’ll definitely return to their townhouse. May God bless them.

It was quiet at the property, even though it’s just off Soco Road and not far from the highway, with easy access. My girlfriend and I spent four days in a cottage for a getaway, and it was perfect for us. The place was very clean, recently updated, and felt extremely homey. Having a Keurig coffee maker was a nice extra. The owners are wonderful and clearly care about their properties. Communication was easy, we got fresh towels and washcloths every day, and we didn’t see anything amiss. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in Maggie Valley.

David is a fantastic owner, and the room was super clean and well cared for. Newly remodeled, with a great location. We stayed June 13-15 for a Father's Day getaway for my husband and me. This place is a 10 out of 10. We’re booking again for October.
