The hiking trails are only about 15 minutes away, and the town is cute to explore. I had a really nice birthday stay for one night. The cabin was lovely and had all the basic essentials, and the hot tub was amazing. I paid through Zelle, and the transaction went through legitimately without any issues.
Cabin 3 was quiet and secluded, and we had a wonderful stay. It was clean and comfortable even in 90° weather, and the hot tub was just right for a warm evening. It exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely stay again.
My wife and I have stayed in these cabins every year since 2015, and they've always been clean and cozy. They're tucked away in the woods, so you get privacy and can enjoy nature. We've done both a romantic getaway and a family reunion here, and highly recommend them for either.
The cozy cabin is in a great location, but after an extended weekend, I don't think I can recommend staying here. We found no coffee, even though the website said there would be some. I left a message at the number in the "angry book" and never got a response. The book lists countless violations and policies that can lead to extra charges. Things felt "Meh" until we were leaving and saw an impressively large cockroach crossing the front room table. That sealed it for me. The book said nothing about compensation if bugs potentially infest your luggage, so please use caution. One bedroom's raised post bed was also one of the loudest, creakiest pieces of home decor ever created.
We wanted a peaceful weekend, and the cabin was just right. It was easy to find and felt secluded, yet restaurants and grocery stores were only 15 minutes away. The cabin was very clean and pet friendly, which was great. We loved the fire pit and hot tub, and several hiking areas are close by. Perfect for a quiet getaway!
