Budget Inn Malvern

The staff were nice, but the room wasn't good. My friend and I stayed one night at the start of May 2024. When we tried to switch on the broken AC, its outer casing came off in our hands. We also found blood-like spots, the kind you might see with bedbugs, on a bed corner and under our pillows.

The people working there are great. The owner lady is funny and kind, and it seems like they're trying to get the place into shape. Floors could use a better mop, but there weren't any flies. The beds are pretty comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the towels weren't dingy. I don't like the coffee, though. For the $60, they could have better coffee and doughnuts. I noticed weekly rentals, but don't know what they cost. $150 a week would be great. If you're short on money, it's a place to go. My husband runs there to cheat and lie.

Shelia made a lasting impression on me. She isn't the maintenance person, but she went out of her way to make me comfortable, and a young man came to help her. I left her $20, though it probably didn't make any difference to her. I hope people who stay here treat the workers well. Call me Shelia if you dare. Danny was a gracious landlord during my one-night stay. The motel was being remodeled, and I understand that's a big undertaking for a corporation investing in small motels and managing such a large property. The staff here are what make casual travel around these United States special. I'm sincere about that.

The folks at the Budget Inn in Malvern are kind and genuine, and would do anything for anyone. It's also an easy walk to the Amtrak station. I highly recommend staying here.
