The Dover Hall team made the day easy for me as a vendor. They were professional, organized, and experienced, and I felt supported throughout. Logistics went smoothly. I've worked in plenty of beautiful spaces as a wedding florist, and Dover Hall stands out every time. The manicured grounds and European-inspired architecture, with grand fireplaces and high ceilings, make it feel like a private estate, almost castle-like, in the Richmond area. It's a striking backdrop for an elegant, timeless celebration. The rooms have so much architectural detail, which makes floral installations and event design feel more impactful. There's lovely natural light for photos, and the indoor and outdoor areas flow easily from ceremony to reception. We were invited to a wine pairing dinner, and the food from Chef Leah Randolph was inspired and delicious. Charred cabbage, seared halibut, braised beef cheek, and pawpaw pudding were beautifully plated. Viognier, Chardonnay from Oregon, Meritage, and Brut Rosé from Moldova were paired carefully with the dishes. Dover Hall starts making an impression as soon as you turn into the driveway. We only saw part of its 38,000 square feet, but the attention to detail was evident throughout. The antiques are real pieces brought in from Europe, not Hollywood facades. I can see why it would make an amazing venue for weddings and events, with guests left in awe. We're already looking forward to another chance to experience Dover Hall.

Rachel, the Event Manager, was a calming presence on our wedding day and helped everything flow smoothly. From our first meeting through the day itself, she was responsive, organized, professional, and kind, always willing to do extra to help. We couldn't imagine handling the planning without her. Our multicultural celebration included many meaningful traditions, and the Dover Hall team welcomed every detail with patience, warmth, and enthusiasm. They supported us through the whole process and worked flexibly to bring our vision to life. The staff's dedication and hospitality made the day smooth and magical, and we're so grateful.
