A half-eaten box of Peeps was left in the refrigerator, and I also found a sewing needle on the floor. There was no bar soap for the sink, just three dispensers in the shower stall with no labels saying what they contained. A loud neighbor kept me up at night, and it turned out to be the housekeeper and family.

The owner was very nice, and the Wi-Fi was great. I stayed at The Stanford and paid a third of what I had spent the previous week at a full-service hotel in Manchester, yet this room was much nicer. It had hardwood floors, new bathrooms, windows that open for fresh air, and a mini fridge, all things the so-called luxury hotel didn't have. It was quiet, and there was a nice fire pit. The only downside was no desk for catching up on work.

The owners were around and working on the property, and the grounds were well maintained. I spent two nights here, and the motel was in excellent shape. The room, bed, AC unit, and fridge all seemed like new. My only complaint was the lack of breakfast and vending machines for soda, candy, or ice. I highly recommend this well-located place.

The owner Antonius was friendly and accommodating, and the property is well looked after. The mountain views are beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable and so clean they smell fresh. Rates are very affordable compared with hotels near downtown, and it's only a short drive to town and the outlets. This really is a hidden gem in Manchester, VT. We'll be back, and we highly recommend it!

We wished we could've stayed longer. The mountain views are beautiful, and town is just minutes away for shopping and restaurants. It's a quiet place with very clean rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and welcoming, accommodating staff.
