Mesa Verde Motel

The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the renovation, down to little touches like a nightlight. The staff were friendly, and this was the standout motel of our long road trip. We’d gladly return and recommend it. Mark & Pat C.

Quirky, retro, fun, even inspiring, all of those fit Mesa Verde Motel. But the thing I noticed most was how exceptionally clean the room was. I’ve never stayed in a cleaner hotel or motel, and the attention to detail was spot on. The folks running it deserve the praise.

We’d enjoyed staying at this fun motel before, and this time we dropped in while passing through just for cocktails. Jake behind the bar was helpful and attentive. The menu was playful, and everyone in our group picked a different drink. We loved them all. The locally sourced chips and salsa were amazing too. A gem for a stay or just a drink.

We were supposed to be heading to Durango, but a recommendation led us to change our plans and stay at Mesa Verde Motel. So glad we did. Mancos is a magical little town, and Sarah’s suggestions were all fantastic. We’re already thinking about when we can return. Sarah put such care and creativity into the details. There was a setup for our two dogs with biscuits and water bowls, a fridge full of a great mix of drinks, good coffee, and plush towels. The decor was phenomenal. Having the M Bar right there was handy too, whether we wanted coffee or protein shakes in the morning, cocktails later, or one of the little items for sale. We feel lucky we found this place.
